We strongly advise that you read through our Terms of Service Agreement below, this way you know what you, the author, and we, the publisher, are responsible for. We tried to make it as short and concise as possible as not to bore you and make it the most reader friendly.
1. Responsibility of you, the client.
You are responsible for all information you provide to us. This includes text, pictures, summaries, titles, and everything similar. Fizik Publishing is just a device to help you get your information into iBook format. If you copyright anything, the blame is all on you, not us. We are not responsible for sifting through your information to find if you copyrighted anyone. You are the creator of information used in the book as well as pictures used in your book, therefore you are liable.
2. Responsibility of us, the publisher.
Fizik is a reformatting and publishing company. We will reformat your book into iBooks format. It is not our job to create information for you, the author. We are also not in control of what iTunes throws at us. Each book is different and iTunes can be picky. We are not affiliated with iTunes and do not receive profits from your book through iTunes, or any other company for that matter. Some books require more work than others. Sometimes multiple editions have to uploaded for review by iTunes which can take upwards of a few months. This is not our fault but we will do our best to prevent that from happening.
We will not share you login information with anyone other than employees of Fizik Publishing. We will not use your information for any purpose than the primary purpose of publishing your book.
3. What we own.
The material and the services on our site and social media pages is ours and protected by copyright. This includes our logo as well. The books we publish for you, our client, is owned by you. We do reserve the right however to include information about Fizik Publishing throughout your book, and to use your book and possibly samples to promote your book on our website and social media pages.
4. Fees/Refunds
There will only be one primary fee to get your book published. Secondary fees would inlcude if you wanted additional pages or images or similar items added to your book before or after being published. There will not be any monthly charges or anything like that. Refunds can be issued based on the percentage of your book already reformatted. No refunds will be issued for books already published or uploaded for review by iTunes. If we haven’t started working on your book and you request a refund, we will return 75% of how much you paid us to publish your book.
